Cam's section looks pretty sick so far. I liked this better than the bearclaw "behind the scenes"

Ha yeah - same thing for me. I live a couple miles each from Dale and Bob. Thats cool, I was gonna say hit them up if you haven't already but you're dialed. Good stuff.

I *don't* like that you can't see the jump :( I feel like it needs more framing to be a great shot.

Not really. I just know the division of the company down here and get really good deals. I just like the shirts and jackets they make

A few years, got into it through a friend. Before this I had a bike with similar spec except the frame was a DMR Trailstar LT and the fork a Pike. I really liked that one too, but when I got the new frame+fork for as cheap as I did (brand new, 700 and 500 euros) I couldn't really pass it up. I'm also likely going to the Alps this summer and going there with the Trailstar would have been a bit too HC.

That's some sound advice, and your spec is pretty clever. I went mainly for something purposeful, not so much flashy (although passersby do tend to stare at the frame!). tbh now i'm just concerned with spending more time on the bike + getting confidence.

That's a seriously nice custom build. Mine is a fair bit lighter as I like riding trails + stuff too, and I've only got one mountain bike now. Probably just gonna upgrade stuff as I go along, which is easy because I haven't made any real compromises in the current build.
